Dermatologists usually suggest topical creams, cryotherapy or laser treatments, and some of these solutions can be quite expensive. But why resort to expensive and ineffective solutions when nature has everything we need to resolve these conditions.
Natural Remedies for Common Skin Problems
Warts
Garlic gives great results in the treatment of warts. All you have to do is crush one garlic clove, apply it on the wart and cover it with a bandage. Let it do its magic for 30 minutes, remove the bandage and rinse the area carefully. Repeat the process two times a day until the wart is gone.
Vitamin C is also a great natural remedy for warts. Crush a few vitamin C pills and mix the powder with some water. Apply the mixture on the wart and cover it with a bandage. Once a day should do the trick and don’t worry if it stings a bit, it will only be temporarily.
Moles
You can use pineapple juice for moles but know that it will not make them disappear completely, only lighten them up a bit. Apply some pineapple juice on a cotton ball, place it over the mole and secure it in place with a bandage. Do this 1-2 times a day for about 15 days for best results.
Another solution is to combine some castor oil with baking soda and apply the mixture directly on the mole. Let it dry off on its own and repeat the process 2 times a day for a month.
Blackheads
Cinnamon is a spice that does wonders for blackheads. Combine some lemon juice and cinnamon and apply the mixture on the spot with blackheads. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off.
Combine some oatmeal, 1tsp of honey and some tomato juice into a paste and rub the affected area with the mixture. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and rinse it off afterwards. Once a day is enough, until the blackheads disappear.
Skin tags
ACV is an excellent remedy for skin tags. Just soak a ball of cotton is some ACV and place it over the skin tag. Secure it in place with a bandage and let it sit for about 3-4 hours. For best results do it 3 times a day until they fall off.
You can also try tea tree oil for skin tags. Just add a few drops of the oil on a cotton ball and massage the skin tags carefully. Let the oil dry off on its own and rinse it after a few hours.
Age spots
If you have some age spots that you’d like to remove you can try a mixture of coconut oil and geranium oil. 1 tsp of coconut and 5 drops of geranium will suffice. Combine the two and massage the age spots gently before bedtime.
Another effective remedy for age spots is rosehip oil. Rinse your face with water and massage the age spots with a few drops of the oil for a few minutes before bedtime.
