Matthew Perry has revealed in his forthcoming autobiography that he wooed Julia Roberts with hundreds of fax messages during a three-month courtship. Their romance began after Roberts was approached to appear on Friends in 1995, and producers urged Perry to contact her. They exchanged daily faxes while she was working in France, and by the time shooting for the episode started, they were a couple. However, Perry ended the relationship two months later, fearing Roberts would leave him. He also admits to being infatuated with Jennifer Aniston before they starred on Friends together.
