A four-year-old girl lost her beloved brown chicken. Heartbroken, she drew a tender picture hoping someone would recognize it. Those who have pets or have had them know that losing a pet is heart-wrenching. Not knowing if it’s well or even if it has eaten is one of the greatest concerns. In today’s story, we present the tale of a four-year-old girl who became famous on Facebook after her mother posted on her profile that her little girl was looking for her chicken.
Apparently, this animal was very important to her. According to her mother’s post, little Ana Romina is heartbroken because her beloved “brown chicken” got lost, and she had no idea where it could have gone. She knew she had to do something to find it, and since an Amber alert wasn’t an option, she opted for the most viable alternative: putting up posters.
But when she started her task, she realized she didn’t have pictures of her beloved chicken, so, with the ingenuity we all lack but she has plenty of, she decided to draw it. In some of the posters, you could see her pet and herself, with a sad face, and in others, only the presumed missing one could be seen.
The “Wanted” posters were pasted outside the family’s fence in Yaqui, Sonora. The event quickly became popular on social media, where many of us were moved and empathized with the facts and the little girl.
Thanks to the news on social media, various people discovered it, and some approached the little girl, giving her three little birds so she wouldn’t be sad. But to this day, there is no update on the whereabouts of the missing chicken.
The little girl will come to love her little birds, but no one will occupy the special place in her heart that the “Gallina café” does.
