Mom is the gentlest being in the world. And for all children, the mother is the most wonderful thing in the world. It’s very sad that, in some cases, children have to be separated from their mothers.
There’s nothing better than spending Christmas and New Year with family; that’s why special dates are usually more exciting than usual. This was the case for a woman who decided to surprise her son when he came to visit her after over a year of separation. Some families, like this one, must be apart for several months, especially when they’re seeking legal documents to live in another country. The mother and son reunited, but she had to leave again.
What was supposed to be a few months turned into a year. Despite being in contact every day through video calls, the boy was surprised to see her. When he entered the room, his mother was waiting for him with open arms. The boy’s first reaction was to say, “Hello, Mom,” but he wasn’t sure about what he was looking at. That’s when the most tender moment of all occurred, where he asked, “Why is my mom here? Is this my dad?” to which he answered yes, laughing, and concluding with, ”
Thanks for waiting for me.” The boy ran into his arms, still not believing that he was seeing his mother. The video became so popular that they had to explain why they had broken up, in addition to sharing many other videos of their time together, games, and even scientific experiments they do.
On social media, they emphasized the love in the family, as the child lives with his mother and “nonna” (grandmother).
