Julia Roberts, who was named as PEOPLE’s 2017 World’s Most Beautiful Woman, talked about her high school days and revealed that she was “awkward” back then. However, she made friends with some “fabulous” people, including NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough. Roberts and Kimbrough, both 49 years old, recently had a Skype conversation where he talked about his space mission. Roberts called him the “coolest guy” she went to high school with. Kimbrough’s successful career as an astronaut proves that one’s high school days do not determine their future success. Roberts believes she is still reaching her peak.
