Ah, the inlays! There is nothing worse than finding these annoying incrustations on the different surfaces of our home.
However, one of the most affected is the inside of the toilet, which is constantly exposed to water and this is where we often notice yellow stains or streaks that are not pleasant to look at.
Therefore, today we will see together how to scrub hidden limescale inside the toilet quickly and easily!
Baking soda and vinegar
Let’s start with the most popular remedy, starting with our grandmothers who used to combine two ingredients that, if they normally cancel each other out, in this case they are effective thanks to the chemical reaction they trigger upon contact.
What are we talking about? Baking soda and vinegar. All you need to do, then, is first dry the bowl to absorb the water, and then sprinkle the bottom of the toilet with baking soda.
At this point, immediately pour undiluted white vinegar on top and leave it for a few hours or overnight .
Finally, brush the surface of the toilet on the now softened incrustations and flush.
Citric acid
Another very effective ingredient is citric acid, whose anti-limescale properties are also a blessing for thoroughly cleaning the washing machine. .
In this case, therefore, dissolve 150 grams of citric acid in a jug containing 1 liter of hot water and pour the resulting mixture into the cup, taking care to let it sit for a few hours.
Then, scrub with the scrubber and pour a bucket of hot water to remove all the residue.
