In 1983, Patricia Clark, then 24, delivered her second child at Community Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. Given her family’s history of large babies, she anticipated a big baby, but she was astonished when Kevin Robert Clark was born weighing just over 16 pounds.

Despite their initial concerns about Kevin’s health due to his size, doctors assured his parents after a checkup that he was perfectly healthy. However, his parents were anxious when he didn’t fit into his crib or newborn clothes. This extraordinary birth has since been documented in detail.

Kevin continued to grow rapidly. By the time he reached junior high, he was already six feet five inches tall. Now, at 35 years old, he stands at six feet nine inches and weighs around 300 pounds.

Kevin, who enjoys making jokes about his size, has always been a focal point of attention. When asked if he plays basketball, he humorously responds that he’s 5’21” and suggests miniature golf instead.

Instead of pursuing a career in basketball or football as many expected, Kevin joined the Air Force, served as a military policeman in Texas, and later chose to pursue an MBA.

He currently lives with his six-foot-tall wife, Jenna, and their Great Dane. Kevin enjoys fishing and hunting.

Typically, a full-term newborn weighs between five and eight pounds, thirteen ounces.
