Videos like “Glow up” or “Transformation” are becoming increasingly popular on social media platforms as people share early images of themselves before revealing their current appearance.
With so many films out there, it can be hard to go unnoticed – but one woman’s video has racked up over 15 million views on TikTok after she debuted her radical “new look”. Jacqueline Alarco’s dental transformation from a row of crooked, overlapping teeth that stuck out of her mouth to a row of pearly whites that most people can only hope to achieve has led to an internet sensation that is now known as “going viral”.
She added the following description to the video: “Before and after I married a dental surgeon.” Jacqueline, who is originally from Brazil, has over 151,000 followers on TikTok and 15,000 on Instagram. The metamorphosis clip went viral and left many amazed. The film has been viewed by millions and millions of people, and has received over 10,000 comments in addition to its widespread distribution. Several people were left speechless, with one writing: “Incredible!! I’m glad he was able to help you with this.” Someone else said: “Oh my, that’s a light!”
According to News.com.au, plastic surgeons and other beauty experts even posted it on their social media accounts to express their admiration for the effort.
After more people saw Jacqueline’s video, some came forward to suggest that the metamorphosis may have been staged, as many people said that such a change was “impossible.”
And in the end, their skepticism was justified all along.
After the “transformationmeteoric” went viral online, Jacqueline recently admitted to playfully faking it by wearing a pair of false teeth.
