Just days after being reported missing, one of the stars of Yellowstone spinoff 1923 has been found deceased.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, 1923 star Cole Brings Plenty has been found around 11:45 a.m. on April 5.
Police discovered Brings Plenty’s remains after they received a call reporting an unoccupied vehicle nearly Homestead Lane in Johnson Country, Kansas. Brings Plenty was “in a wooded area away from the vehicle.”
According to the local sheriff’s office, the ongoing investigation continues. Brings Plenty’s cause of death was not immediately known.
Brings Plenty’s disappearance was first made public when his uncle Mo Brings Plenty took to Instagram to ask the public for help in finding his nephew. Mo also stars in Yellowstone.
As the search for the 27-year-old continued, police revealed that Brings Plenty was a wanted in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident.
Mo confirmed Cole’s death on Instagram when he shared a statement from Brings Plenty’s father, Joe.
“I am deeply saddened to confirm that my son, Cole, has been found and is no longer with us. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole. We would also like to thank everyone who came to walk beside us as we searched for my son and provided the resources we needed to expand our search areas. I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole’s heart and loved him.”
The post continued, “During this incredibly difficult time, we ask for privacy as we process our grief and figure out how we move forward. Please know we appreciate you and appreciate your understanding.”
