No human parent can compare to the caregiving abilities of this dog in Nebraska. Berkeley, a Bernese Mountain Dog, was adopted by the Miller family and lived with them before the birth of their daughter.
When Eleni was born, the couple hesitated to let the dog near her, unsure of how she would react to the new baby in the house. However, they quickly realized that all their concerns were unfounded.
Despite being huge with strong paws, the dog developed a loving and caring personality alongside little Eleni, not unlike what happens when dogs are around their own offspring. Even after installing a baby monitor, Kristin and Joe’s parents discovered that Berkeley performed almost all of its functions.
Every night, I go into the room and check if the baby in the crib is okay.
And when Eleni turned two, her parents told her a story that made her extremely happy about the care the dog, with whom she had lived all this time, had received.
And they themselves are happy that their daughter is in perfect safety with such a gentle guardian.
