HOME SWEET HOME
Britney released her tell-all memoir The Woman in Me on October 24.
In it, she shared a number of bombshells, including several shocking reveals about her relationship with Justin Timberlake and more.
She also opened up about her upbringing, sharing details about her childhood home in the book.
In The Woman in Me, Britney writes that her home was a “zoo,” but adds that it was also, “for lack of a better word, the cool house.”
The Circus singer also reveals in her memoir that her family was “very poor,” but says that prior to her father’s drinking habit taking off he had a few businesses that did well.
They were able to hire occasional help and one day Britney overheard a housekeeper singing gospel, which she called “an awakening.”
HOUSE DRAMA
Britney’s fans got a glimpse at her childhood and more in the documentary, Framing Britney Spears.
After it aired, viewers expressed an interest in learning more about the singer’s upbringing.
A Realtor listing revealed details about the house, including how much it was sold for prior to the latest listing.
Jamie sold the house in 2020 for $289,000.
The sale came just days after Britney scored her first big legal victory against her father in a tense court battle over her conservatorship.
A judge ruled at the time that Jamie would no longer have sole control over her multi-million dollar fortune.
At the time, fan support behind the #FreeBritney movement was rampant.
