But fast forward over twenty years and the singer, now 40, looks like she hasn’t aged a day in her latest Instagram pics.

Wearing just a white tank top and baggy blue jeans, Christina looked like she had stepped back in time to 1999, when she was a pop star singing about being a Gene In A Bottle.
With her famous platinum locks falling down her back, she embraced the ’90s look further with a lip-lined pout and oval rose shades.
She shared three snaps, which included a full length shot which showed off her incredible figure.
The sexy star captioned the photos with: “What a girl really wants is the perfect pair of jeans.”

Her fans were quick to compliment Christina on her look, with one saying: “Why you so pretty tho [sic].”
While another one said: “Hottie .”
The latest snaps come hot of the heels of Christina’s confession to feeling “insecure” during her early years of fame and into her 20’s, and admitted she would “never” want to relive that time.
The Burlesque star has fully embraced aging after celebrating her 40th birthday this past December.

Christina spoke to Health Magazine for their beauty issue about her pressures to appear perfect during the initial growth of her career in the ’90s.
The singer admitted to having a “hard time” looking at pictures of herself from that period, as she remembered her deep “insecurities.”
“I think we all have our good days and our bad days in how we feel about ourselves. Entering this business, I hated being super skinny,” she told the publication for her May 2021 cover story.
“Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves. I appreciated having a booty,” the celebrity recalled as she reminisced about her 2002 album Stripped and the changes that came with it.

She confessed: “I have a hard time looking at the early pictures of myself because I remember feeling so insecure.
“I would never want to relive my 20s — you’re so in your own head and finding your confidence.”
Christina, who is now mom to Max, 13, and Summer, six, has released the insecurities and has learned to love her body.
