THE MIRACULOUS HEALING POWER OF BLACK SALVE FOR  WARTS, MOLES AND SKIN TAGS

Bloodroot is the main ingredient in black salve. It has been used for inflammation,  infections, in the treatment of warts, moles, skin tags,  and skin cancer. The main constitute of blood root is sanguinarine, an alkaloid  that has been found to have antimicrobial, tumoricidal, anticancer, antiangiogenic, and antimicrotubule  properties.  Bloodroot has been known as a potent anticancer agent. According to a 2013 study published in the European Journal of Pharmacology, sanguinarine in bloodroot causes cell death through oxidative damage in the body. It’s been found to help kill human melanoma cells.

Bloodroot is omitted in most recipes nowadays as it might be too rough on the skin.

HEALING INGREDIENTS USED IN BLACK SALVE

COMFREY ROOT

Comfrey is well known to speed up wound healing (it’s also known as knit-bone). Comfrey has an incredible ability to soak through skin and muscle and affect bones. Additionally,  a recent clinical trial has shown comfrey root ointment to be more effective than some pharmaceutical ointments in healing sprains. Another double-blind study has found comfrey to be effective in treating osteoarthritis of the knee.

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL:

The activated charcoal has been used since ancient times as a detoxifier and purifier. The charcoal helps clean the wound and get rid of the offending object.
